Content Management Enhancements

Delete Content from Review Jobs

Users with permission to delete a content record in the library can now perform that action in Review Jobs.

Example: A content manager is working with a Review Job and decides the content record must be deleted from the library.

Note: To delete content from a Review Job, locate the desired content, click on the More Options More Options menu menu, and select Delete.

Caution: This will also remove the content from the Review Job. Deleted content will remain in the Recycle Bin for a configurable amount of time before it is physically deleted.

Content Title Optional for Advanced Edits

The Content Title is now optional when performing an Advanced Edit in the library, Review Jobs, and Manage Review Jobs.

Note: To exclude the Content Title from library content or a review job, click Advanced Edit and deselect the Content Title checkbox within the Include Properties section of the "Edit Content" dialog.

Usability Enhancements

"Extra ID" Added to Event Auditing

The "Extra ID" field that tracks an additional ID with the audit event can now be added to the Event Auditing grid.

Note: To add the "Extra ID" field to the Event Auditing grid, click the Customize ColumnsCustomize Columns icon icon in the top right corner of the grid to display the Columns dialog. On the "Manage Columns" dialog, select "Extra ID" from the Available Columns and add it to the Selected Columns. Reorder the columns as desired and click Save.

Project Enhancements

RFP Menu Option to Enable Track Changes

Users now have the ability to enable Track Changes for RFPs that have already been loaded into a project.

Example: A user forgot to enable Track Changes in their Word document prior to loading the RFP into their Qvidian project and does not have the ProjectWordRFPTrackChanges global setting enabled.

Note: To enable tracking for a Word RFP that has already been loaded into a Qvidian project, click the More More menu menu and select Turn on Track Changes. This menu option will be disabled if the file is checked out or if track changes has already been enabled for the document. Once enabled, any changes made when edited in Word will be tracked. In-line edits will NOT show as tracked changes.

Project Activities on File Settings Changes

Any changes made to the properties of File List and RFP files will now be displayed in the project "Activities" dialog to reflect the audit events introduced in the May 2026 release.

July 2026 Resolved Issues

Item

Summary

Resolution
QPA- 114315 If a user attempted to apply permissions to a specific library folder and all folders were selected, when they clicked the "Select a folder" button, all folders in the Content Library tree were disabled. If a user attempts to apply permissions to a specific library folder and all folders are selected, when they click the "Select a folder" button, only the folder that permissions are being applied to will be disabled.
QPA- 116154 When a user exported library content in its current Display Order, the files were not sorted correctly. The order of the exported records did not match the order in which the records were sorted in the library. When a user exports library content in its current Display Order, the records will appear in the same order as they were sorted in the library.
QPA- 116013 When a user selected text within their Qvidian for Web instance, if they clicked the "Revise selected text with AI Assist" button, AI Assist would fail to launch. AI Assist will launch as expected in Qvidian for Web.
QPA- 115351 Merge codes that were being used were not accurately reflected in the exported report. If a merge code was used in multiple places, the "Used" field within the Export would display as "FALSE" and would be excluded when "Used" was set to "Is True" within Architecture > Merge Codes. Merge codes that are being used will be accurately reflected in the exported report.
QPA- 115276 When a client ran AI Assist in AutoFill, the answers did not follow the AI Assist Rules that were entered. When AI Assist in AutoFill is run, AI Assist will follow the rules more closely. Generative AI may not follow all rules in all cases. Users should always review all AI generated content.
QPA- 115605 The following permissions were missing from a client's "Everyone" Role: #147 (Allow user to perform content review tasks) and #149 (Allow user to be added as a Participant in Projects). Permissions #147 and #149 will be available as expected for the "Everyone" Role.
QPA- 114954 When a customer accepted an answer into an RFP project, additional spaces were being inserted even though the style template was set to add a "0pt" space. When answers are accepted into an RFP project, the style template will be applied as expected.
QPA- 113609 When a user approved a SME Job containing content that was deleted from the Library, a “Composite Edit type request failed” error occurred, and changes would not be saved. This issue has been resolved.
QPA- 114810 When an administrator attempted to perform an Advanced Edit in MS Word to multiple records in Manage Content Review Jobs, a "QPA Request Error: Unexpected Exception" would occur. Users can perform an Advanced Edit in MS Word to multiple records in Manage Content Review Job.
QPA- 115148 When a user sent a SME email, the email body did not retain the line breaks set in the Administration's "SME Email Body" page. When a user sends a SME email, the email body will retain the line breaks set in the Administration's "SME Email Body" page.
QPA- 110284 The "Aggregate Value Descending" sort order did not display as expected in Upland Analytics stacked bar chart reports. The "Aggregate Value Descending" sort order will be displayed as expected in Upland Analytics stacked bar chart reports.
QPA- 115618 When a user searched for PPT files and applied "Bundle" filter in Qvidian for Office (PowerPoint), the following error message occurred: "There has been an error generating an AI Answer." Users will receive the expected results when performing a search for PPT files if the "Bundle" filter is applied in Qvidian for Office (PowerPoint).
QPA- 115011 When a user inserted an AI Assist answer in AutoFill/Search Mode, the default style from the style template was not applied like it was when new answers were created via Word or Inline Edit for enabled users. The default style will be applied to the AI Assist answers as expected.
QPA- 115916 When a user added answers to sliced RFPs, Default Value Merge Codes were not processed if they were not in all lower case letters. When a user adds answers to sliced RFPs, Default Value Merge Codes will process as expected if they contain upper case letters.
QPA- 111171 When a user downloaded or built an RFP, the populated answers in the Excel RFPs were missing values if the slices were being edited for longer than the configured 5 minute timeout. The timeout setting has been updated to 60 minutes.
